Special Prize for IT2media

The Verband Deutscher Auskunfts- und Verzeichnismedien e.V. [vdav] (Association of German Information and Directory Media) held its 2010 Convention at Berlin's Maritim Hotel from the 8th to the 10th of June.

At the DirectoryNight at the old Berliner Wasserwerk, this year's Directory Media prizes were presented in the context of a celebration. A jury comprising well-known industry experts assessed the best and most creative ideas for products from the numerous entries that had been submitted. Just as in previous years, IT2media delighted the jury and was awarded for the first time the special prize for associate members as Service provider of the year 2010.

IT2media presented their latest products from the Development Department at the accompanying specialist trade fair. One of the highlights at the booth was a Smart driving simulator that gave participants a chance to check out the AVUS racetrack. The prize for the fastest lap was a weekend at the DTM race at Nuremberg's Norisring racetrack. Our congratulations go to Mr. Olaf Seibel of Sutter Verlag and we hope he has a pleasant and interesting stay in the Franconian metropolis.
